Yoga For All

I firmly believe that you can connect to your well-being and learn new self-healing techniques at any stage of life, regardless of how stiff, worn out, or out of shape you are. For quite a long time, I have led people of all ages, capacities, and health conditions in a yoga practice that nourishes the full self – body, mind, and soul. We all can make sustainable beneficial changes in our lives through daily yoga practice.

My work as a teacher is dedicated to providing concepts, and resources that will enhance your current yoga practice or motivate beginners to start practising. Whether you want to improve your immune system, recover from an illness or accident, or simply have more energy for your loved ones and your job, yoga has something for you.

Yoga therapy is personalised, keeping in mind the special conditions, the period, the place, the practitioner’s age, the strength, and the activities of the individual. Besides pranayama, meditation and chanting I have put together several audience-specific programmes.

My classes are designed to make you feel energised, rejuvenated and relaxed throughout the day. The energy which you acquire during the sessions stays with you all day long, until you hit the mat again.

My morning class is a perfect way to refuel your body, mind and soul, as I largely focus on strength, balance and flexibility while also looking out for the correct alignment and precision of Asanas.
Some of my audience-specific programmes which I have curated with long hours of research and work are as follows:

There is the Yoga Chair session. Professionals around the globe sit at their desks working throughout the day with the least amount of movement. I have witnessed my colleagues’ health deteriorating from an early age due to improper care of their health which has led me to make this program. My Chair Yoga sessions will not only break the monotony of work for such people but also show them how to maintain their health with meaningful activity and exercise in the middle of work pressure, helping them with better clarity and decision-making skills.

Then there are yoga therapy sessions specifically designed for women. We, as women, go through a lot of hormonal changes throughout our lives, especially during puberty. Physical, mental and emotional changes come alongside biological changes. Specific yoga asanas can help women cope with them. As a woman myself plus writing a research paper on Yoga & Women, I can empathise and understand my fellow women better and have, therefore, designed a programme that addresses their specific concerns. Yoga gives us the advantage of handling an inevitable, manifold discomfort with calm acceptance and grace.

I have also curated something known as restorative yoga. Most people think of yoga as a series of stringent exercises to activate all the parts, all the organs of the body as well as every physiological system. Yoga is much more than that, it can be used to relax our overworked bodies. I will take you on a journey of restorative yoga which involves calming, healing and even thanking every single part of the complex human system which is often taken for granted.
